Whats half way between a Warhammer and an Awesome?
Thats the question that started a very high headed competition among designers in the later 3020s. The final decision and declared winner by virtual battle testing, donated by NAIS, was the Warsaw. The Warsaw mixes the powerful laser based brawling capabilities of the Warhammer with the Awesome's thicker armor and better heat efficiency. The mech weighs in exactly between the two older designs at 75 tons. The designers chose to reduce its speed to that of the Awesome freeing up considerable tonnage while maintaining the mech's decent capabilities on the unique battlefields of the 3020s. The mech has much greater armor than the Warhammer though less than the venerable Awesome. Its armament is entirely laser based and falls somewhere between the Warhammers extremely weapon heay design and the Awesome's heat efficiency.
The design while declared the definitive hybrid of a Warhammer and an Awesome proved to be a logistical impossibility that would likely never exist off of the simulated battlefields of VR. The mech when used by a good pilot use to hotter running designs, such as the Warhammer, have been known to show extremely high marks when using the mech in VR.

The Warsaw lives on in a number of VR systems as an obscurity that few mechwarrior's even know exists. Most often in virtual engagements it is used to throw off young mechwarriors and encourage non traditional tactics, as apposed to the standard by the books technique for destroy the Warhammer and Awesome.

Enjoy, and please remember its suppose to be a cross between an Awesome (big thick armor, slow, heat efficient) and the Warhammer (Big, thin armor, relatively fast, and hot)
I find that 'pinpoint' accuracy during a bombing run increases proportionally with the amount of munitions used.
