Overview
Recently Clan Hell's Horses acquired samples of Ice Hellion's successful reconnaissance design, the Snow Fox. Seeing its potential as a highly mobile attack vehicle, Hell's Horses techs immediately began drawing up plans for a new design, the Prowler. Not only did these techs have the gall to upgrade an inferior mech chassis, but also they further shamed themselves by making it the first OmniQuad.
Capabilities
Drawing from images of predatory jungle cats of Terra and other planets known for their lush forests, the Prowler's sleek form and snarling visage give it a very formidable appearance. Subsequently, this reduces its overall profile, while at the same time giving the pilot a psychological edge. The mech does not rely on looks alone, however, in order to be intimidating. Its great speed and awesome firepower (for its size) in all configurations make it one ferocious design. Also, techs took the next step of placing most of the mech’s weapons in a modular turret, giving the Prowler a complete hemispherical field of fire.
Most of the variants of the Prowler operate using the strategy of "dancing out of the enemy's reach." The primary, for example, couples the incredible power of an ER PPC with the mobility of jump jets, providing for an excellent all around brawler. The Alpha configuration continues in this tread mounting an LB-2x Autocannon and a ton each of slug and cluster rounds, giving it the ability to provide air cover as well as direct fire support. Alternate B is a mobile fire support platform, utilizing proven LRM technology backed up by ER Medium Lasers.
The C variant of the Prowler brings a Targeting Computer-enhanced Large Pulse Laser to the battlefield, providing deadly accurate, lightning-fast attack capability. The Delta configuration, although similar in function to the Beta, uses the versatile Advanced Tactical Missile launchers. Provided with ample ER and HE ammunition, these launchers make it a formidable opponent at any range. Alternate E is the ultimate sniper mech, combining the range of an ER Large Laser with the accuracy of a Targeting Computer. Jump Jets allow this variant to access the best vantage points for a target.
The last few variants depart somewhat from the Prowler's main role as a long-range attack mech, but only for good reason. The reason being for Alternate F is the supreme power of a Heavy Large Laser, coupled with a targeting computer to direct that power and jump jets to deliver it. Alternate Configuration G's role is to act as a spotter. Carrying both a Narc missile beacon and TAG gives it the dual ability to be an artillery spotter or to paint targets for missile barrages. Variant H is often found working in conjunction with Alternate G, as its ability to uncover hidden enemy units makes them prime targets for surprise assault. These last variants rely on their Starmates to provide covering fire as they close.
Deployment
Just now clearing final testing, the Prowler is set to be sent in limited numbers to Hell's Horses frontline clusters. While widely accepted and praised by test pilots, it remains to be seen whether the capabilities of this excellent design will override the stigma raised against it.

Whoops, you are absolutely correct. It is a 210, I just made a typo. Oh well, it's fixed now.
