Far superior, but lighter and still does everything that the other, and heavier, mech would do. Just increasing the mass of a unit does not make it a better unit, I am sure other designers could make better again.

As Grey pointed out, you'll actually do better if you shave off 5 tons. 55 tons is beyond the peak performance range for 7/11 movement.

However, that detail aside, it's a solid raiding mech.
