OverView:
one of the smaller Choppers built by a Factory that can handel High Speeds and get to where help is the most needed.

though Lightly armored it can still deal damage that a Stinger out of Machine Gun Range could do and even reach the location by far faster then the Locust but because of it's small more compact size it can zoom across the sky or even close to ground level at it's full rate of speed though safer in the sky then cliping along the ground it does however help from being seen by radar and also harder to hit.

but on the other side of the Coin of this more compacted Helo it does not have much weight for armor or weapons, However it is ment to 'sting' the enemy and then flee or to pick on another target befor fleeing.

but thanks to the abuilty to Fly fast and low to the ground or able to quickly and easly hide from enemy radar because of it's armor is made and painted using some simple use of stealth Ideas that have been used on old Terran Bombers(I am sure you all know what I am talking ablout) and a new Cooling tech that makes sure it leaves no heat trail and for these reasons it was named the Hiei.

though because of the old Stealth tech it leaves a Shadow on the Radar of where the was giving the enemy Commander some Idea where the enemy could be, how ever closer to the ground it sends countless echos in many differnt locations making it harder to pin point until it is in eye view and by that time the Hiei lifts higher off the ground and fires it's Laser in to enemy formations or can even pick off the enemy base camp if the pilot is lucky and very skilled.

Battle History:
in the mid to late 60s the Clans had attacked the LA when the CW was going on to sharpen their Claws, however they picked a world where 36 of these units was under field testing and not under the control of the LAAFs and refuesed to help the LAAFs as they was under the command of Lt. Commander Lisa Mc'Drift of the 360th Light Sword Test unit and stationed with the rest of the Sword unit that both stated out of the fight until a contrat could be reached and in hast the 36 Hieis was in the fight and aiding the LAAFs in the fight to protect the world.

by staying low to the ground most of the time the Hiei was able to get close to the rear of the enemy lines with out being seen or detected and layed waste to the enemy's that was down for quick field repair as well as many BA was cut down and in doing so alowed the LAAFs to take many of the enemy's suppiles.

while going back to ground level they pulled the same surprise on the enemy's flanks and devstated much of the enemy's rear armor and some even heavly damaging a few others from the rear attacks.

though because their surprise of over and had no way to escape the targeted one mech...a 100 ton Dire Wolf and put all 36 ER Medium Lasers on it doing heavy damage but because of this 20 of the 36 Hiei was lost befor bring down the enemy Dire Wolf and the Commander of the enemy force and fled to alow the mechs to finsh off the enemy.
