==Overview:==
Little is known about this unique design. Believed to be a Smoke Jaguar
prototype, it was brought into the Inner Sphere by Star Commander Arkan
Hildenrath, who miraculously survived his showdown with Hiroshi Kirishima.
==Capabilities:==
A Clan prototype of fearsome ability, possibly a testbed or one off design, it
was created to engage enemy mechs at long range and destroy them with well
aimed salvoes.
The chassis seems to have been based on the Daishi, sharing the same leg
assembly but using an upright torso structure similar to the one seen in the
Gladiator and Man O War.
The armament is extremely powerful with pairs of ER PPC's, ER Lasers and Gauss
Rifles, all mounted into the mech's heavy arm mountings. Mounting 34 double
strenght heat sinks the Archangel cannot fire all its weapons at the same
time, instead it "punches" away at the enemy by firing both arms
alternatively.
The Archangel was well-armoured for a mech its size and with a top speed of 54
kph it could keep pace with most other assault mechs in its weight class.
Jump Jets gave it extra mobility to deal with difficult terrain.
==Battle History:==
The Archangel served with the now infamous Unit 476, responsible for some of
the worst atrocities caused during the WOB Jihad.
Blasting away at some of the toughest opponents in the Inner Sphere, the
Archangel seemed almost invulnerable until Unit 476 was cornered by
Carlsson'sThunderers, a composite mercenary unit involved in a personal war
with Unit 476. The Archangel finally went down as it was cornered by
Magnusson's Atlas, The SIlver Angel's Masakari, Croft's Mad Cat II and
Kirishima's Raiden.

==Notable 'Mechs & MechWarriors:==
Gabriel Rochambeau was an eloquent, young man with boyish good licks and a
razor sharp wit. He is also one of the most despised men in history having
performed some of the most odious acts ever. A remorseless psychopath, he hid
his evil behind a mask of righteous virtue, posing his unit as an
anti-terrorist task force, blaming his crimes on others.
Having joined Comstar briefly before the Tukayyid battle he was one of the
first to rally to the WOB cause and soon caught the attention of his superiors
and is largely responsable for the creation of Unit 476 as a tool of terror.
All his men would be bloodied as they joined his ranks by performing the most
heinous acts imaginable. Once comitted to his cause, there was no turning
back and every single member of Unit 476 had a bounty on his or her head and
had been condemned to death by almost every known House and several Clans.
Responsible for the death and torture of millions of people across the Inner
Sphere and even Clan Space, Unit 476, Rochambeau played the media, enticing
his enemies to come up with a single shred of evidence of his wrongdoing,
using his charm to woe many to believe he was wrongfully accused.
But a holovid showing Rochambeau supervising the execution of thousands of
innocent civilians by stomping them with mechs enraged those who had suffered
losses from Unit 476. As Arkan Hildenrath joined Unit 476, Harald Carlsson
assembled a private army willing to stop Unit 476 at all costs.
Rochambeau fought a dirty war, destroying a complete jumpship with a nuclear
device, murdering several prominent members of the Thunderers through various
traps and ambushes, he was finally caught and his unit destroyed to the last
man, with no survivors being taken. Gabriel and Arkan were among the last to
survive, defiant until the very end his plan to destroy the Thunderers with a
nuclear weapon was defeated by one of his own soldiers sacrificing himself to
amend for his crimes.
Only when his corpse was positively identified could the souls of his victims
finally find rest.
