The 101st Jaguar Attack Cluster was a front-line military formation of Clan Smoke Jaguar.

Post-Tukayyid[edit]
The 101st Jaguar Attack Cluster was formed in 3056 from the finest new warriors the Clan could muster.[1] The Cluster was destroyed fighting mercenaries and later Clan Nova Cat on Wayside V in August 3058.[2]
Star Colonel Roberta won the bidding to engage the Inner Sphere forces that had dropped onto the planet. Two Stars of OmniMechs probed the defenses of the landing zone; they were destroyed when mercenary forces targeted the fuel tanks of a downed DropShip, causing a massive explosion.[3] Another two partial Trinaries were also assigned to this task.[4] After the failure of the attack, Roberta unleashed two light Stars of headhunters, but this attack was also countered.[5]
The fighters of Stalker Star were wasted in a futile attack against a mercenary DropShip.[5] After this, the mercenaries advanced towards the Jaguar base of Wayside Station and the 101st Attack Cluster moved to intercept, sending an assault Star with Elemental support on a flanking maneuver.[6] During the fighting, the Cluster was flanked and struck in the rear, but at the same time a lone Star broke through to threaten the enemy command unit.[7] The Cluster by this point had taken heavy casualties and Galaxy Commander Osis ordered its retreat, during which Roberta was killed.[8]

Notes[edit]
- The unit symbol was a black outstretched paw, its claws dripping red blood.[17]
- Star Colonel Roberta is listed as commander in Impetus of War, however the Northwind Highlanders scenario pack gives the commander as Star Colonel Patricia, whom the novel lists as leading the 250th Assault Cluster.[18]
