In 2764, the 104th was attached to the 275th BattleMech Division, assigned as part of XLI Corps, Ninth Army to District 2 of the Free Worlds League Military Region.[1] The 275th survived the Periphery Uprising and the Hegemony Campaign, and though the 275th embarked on the Exodus with Aleksandr Kerensky in 2784, the 104th chose to remain in the Inner Sphere.[1][2]

In 2783,[3] the 104th became a mercenary unit and were hired by the Draconis Combine.[1][2][4]

The unit was destroyed during the Second Succession War.[5]
