The Tenth Infantry Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.

Reunification War[edit]
The unit was originally formed as the Tenth Division during the creation of the SLDF in 2571 and was a part of the IV Corps.[3]

Amaris Civil War[edit]
In 2764, the Tenth Infantry Division was stationed on Ko,[4] assigned as part of XXI Corps, First Army to the Terran Military Region.[5] The Tenth participated in wargames against the 164th BattleMech Division frequently. In one notable engagement on Lyons, two infantry regiments of the Tenth were able to hold out for six weeks against the 1633rd Brigade by using the Givens Hollow Castle Brian.[2]
The Tenth transferred to District 1 of the Lyran Commonwealth Military Region in 2765 in response to the New Vandenberg Uprising. The unit was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[5]

Composition History[edit]
As an SLDF Infantry division, the Tenth would have been formed from two brigades of grunt infantry and a brigade of light BattleMech regiments.[7]
Notes[edit]
- ^ The Star League and Historical: Reunification War state that in 2575, the SLDF had ten full corps with each divided into three divisions and nine brigades in a set organizational structure.[8][9] The Tenth was listed as being a division of one of those corps.[3]
- It was confirmed by the author of Historical: Reunification War that, in general, the Divisions listed within The Star League can be traced directly to those Divisions listed within Historical: Reunification War.[1] Therefore, it can safely be assumed that the twenty-sixth-century Tenth Division is the direct antecedent of the twenty-eighth-century Tenth Infantry Division.
