The 114th Hussar Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History[edit]
In 2763, the 114th was reassigned to X Corps, First Army of the Terran Military Region and was expecting a transfer to the Periphery in 2674, though it was on hold due to increasing tensions in the Taurian Concordat.[2] The unit was subsequently transferred to District 1 of the Draconis Combine Military Region in 2765 in response to the Periphery Uprising.[3]
The 114th supported the Seventieth Infantry Division during the fighting in Virginia in 2779, successfully pushing back the Amaris Dragoons that had been defending the area.[4]
Having survived the Periphery Uprising and the Hegemony Campaign, the 114th chose not to follow General Aleksandr Kerensky on the Exodus and instead joined the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery in 2784.[3] Having recruited the 114th, the DCMS redesignated the regiment as the Twenty-eighth Dieron Regulars; the Twenty-eighth was one of eight regiments of Dieron Regulars raised from former SLDF personnel by the Combine.[1]
