The 1389th Aero Wing was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.

The 1389th Aero Wing was assigned to the 138th BattleMech Division as of 2764.[1] Attached to an SLDF Division, the 1389th would have been a ground aero wing tasked with providing air superiority and fire support for ground forces.[2][3]

Composition History[edit]
As an SLDF Ground Aero Wing, the 1389th would have been composed of a full wing each of aerospace, conventional (often with two or three squadrons of reconnaissance craft), and transport aircraft. Also attached were at least one engineer battalion and ground personnel for airfield construction and operation.[2][3]
