The Fourteenth Lyran Regulars were a military command in the Lyran Commonwealth Armed Forces.

History[edit]
The unit was stationed on Bella I in 2813. The other Steiner command on the planet was the Twelfth Lyran Regulars. The Free Worlds League sent two Regulan Hussars commands to conquer the planet. The defenders overestimated the strength of the invaders and retreated off-world. The Lyrans discovered their fault too late. The FWLM had sent additional troops as reinforcement. The LCAF waited three years to retake the planet. In the meantime, the Regulan Forces were recalled to Free Worlds League space. The new garrison force was unfamiliar with the environment. The two former garrison commands returned under new leadership. The Marik troops retreated after 21 days of fighting.
Twelve months later the FWLM started a new attempt to invade the planet. The Lyran Regulars had a new commanding officer and were better prepared. The campaign was decided in favor of the FWLM because they had air superiority. Bella I returned once more to the Free Worlds League.[1]
