The 1561st Brigade was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History[edit]
The 1561st was attached to the 156th Mechanized Infantry Division of I Corps, First Army.[1]
In late 2763, two DropShips carrying two battalions of the 1734th Battle Regiment—a unit within the 1561st Brigade—collided during orbital drop training, killing all aboard. After an investigation by JAG Command, the commanding officer of the 1561st was relieved of duty.[1]
