Formation[edit]
The Fifteenth Alshain Avengers were formed from the leftovers of the old Alshain Regulars. The unit contained leftover single soldiers, militia forces of the conquered Alshain Military District, and sub-battalion elements of the shattered Second Alshain Regulars, Third Alshain Regulars, Fourth Alshain Regulars, and Seventh Alshain Regulars.[1]

The unit was tasked with the border defense during the operation.
Dominion War[edit]
The Fifteenth joined with two other Avenger regiments in the Black Dragon Society's Operation BATU, the attempt to seize the former Alshain Military District capital of Alshain. The regiments suffered heavy losses while still in orbit and were completely destroyed after landing on planet in October 3062.[2][3][4]
After hearing of the betrayal of the Avengers, Coordinator Theodore Kurita ordered the death of all members of the Avengers who invaded Alshain, should they survive the invasion.[2]

Tactics[edit]
With the disparate background of troops in the regiment each battalion has its own specialty:
The 1st Battalion used the terrain for cover and can cross landscape where other saw no way.
The 2nd Battalion uses speed to react quickly of any change in the battle.
The 3rd Battalion sub-command guarded the supply lines well, to secure the troops have everything needed.[1]

- 2nd Battalion: Chu-sa Jon Risner
- 3rd Battalion: Chu-sa Sun Ch'uan
- Note: All 36 OmniMechs, including a full company of Avatars, were located in the 1st Battalion. Many warriors refuse to give up their machines as a reminder of their lost homeworlds. Over 60 percent of the equipment was upgraded with the time.
Fifteenth Alshain Aerospace (1 Reinforced Wing/Regular/Questionable)[1]
- Wing Commander: Sho-sa Gavin Sundancer
- Note: The pool of fighters increased steadily but the High Command was expected to relocate these fighters to other units. Only a few machines received new material to improve their capabilities.
Fifteenth Alshain Armor (1 Battalion/Veteran/Reliable)[1]
- Armor Commander: Chu-sa Naomi Lee-Tanaka
- Note: The unit contained an elite company of hovercraft, who were experts in battling 'Mechs. The company was survivors of the Second Alshain Regulars' fight on Soverzene.
Fifteenth Alshain Infantry (1 Expanded Regiment/Green/Questionable)[1]

- Note: The regiment includes all support forces needed to increase the fighting effectiveness of all other forces.
Color Scheme and Insignia[edit]
The Alshain Avengers discarded the Alshain Regulars' color scheme and regimental insignia and did not use camouflage, wanting their hated Clan enemies to know who they were facing. The Fifteenth Alshain Avengers painted their machines light gray.[1][5][6]
The Avenger brigade insignia was that of a red dagger pointing out of an eclipsed sun with a flaming corona. This insignia appeared on the upper right arm of BattleMechs and was prominently displayed on all other vehicles. The Fifteenth regimental insignia is that of a sword rising out of a fire.[1]
