The 189th Heavy Assault Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History[edit]
In 2764, the unit was assigned as a part of XII Corps, Ninth Army to District 2 of the Free Worlds League Military Region.[1][2]
The 189th was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery to take part in the Periphery Uprising by 2765. The unit survived the war, the Hegemony Campaign, and followed General Aleksandr Kerensky on the Exodus in 2784.[1]

Composition History[edit]
As an SLDF Heavy Assault regiment, each battalion of the 189th would have been primarily composed of three companies of heavy to assault BattleMechs with a fourth company of attached artillery.[3][4]
