Unit Description[edit]

The First Hussars was a Clan Ghost Bear second-line BattleMech Cluster which was originally comprised of soldiers who were members of the defunct Free Rasalhague Republic military.[1]

Unit History[edit]

Following the Jihad, the First Hussars were present on Thessalonika when it was attacked as part of the Word of Blake's Bloody Tricentennial campaign. The Word's release of a virulent strain of foot-and-mouth disease was relatively non-violent but the devastation of Thessalonika's cattle industry served to significantly threaten the pastoral world's economic survival.[2]
