The First Rift Valley Guard were a Draconis Combine militia unit defending the world of Imbros III.[1]

Third Succession War[edit]
In April 3028, 'Mechs of the unit were engaged with a raiding party of the Gray Death Legion. Several defending 'Mechs were destroyed or disabled and the surviving two 'Mechs of the deployed defense force retreated to the planetary capital of Trunner. Following this fight, GDL infantry managed to breach the nearby HQ dome and force the surrender of the unit's commanding officer and staff.[2]
