The 205th Heavy Assault Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History[edit]
In 2764, the unit was assigned as part of XLVIII Corps, Seventeenth Army to the Periphery Military Region.[2] The 205th was part of Task Force Aegis, a brigade that garrisoned the XLVIII Corps headquarters and reinforced other units in crisis.[3] The 205th continued to serve in the Periphery throughout the Periphery Uprising and later the Hegemony Campaign.[2]
The 205th had the distinction of being the first SLDF unit to be recruited by the Lyran Commonwealth, joining the Lyran Commonwealth Armed Forces as the Seventeenth Arcturan Guards in 2781.[1]
