The 229th Dragoon Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.
History[edit]
In 2764, the unit was assigned as part of LIX Corps, Twentieth Army to the Periphery Military Region.[1] Like other independent regiments assigned to LIX Corps, the 229th often operated alone while scouting distant Periphery worlds near the Rim Worlds Republic.[2]
The 229th survived the subsequent Periphery Uprising in 2765, but was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[1]
