The Twenty-sixth Royal CAAN Marine Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.
History[edit]
In 2764, the unit was assigned as part of LXVII Corps, Twentieth Army to the Periphery Military Region.[1] After the Twentieth Army was ordered to withdraw from the Rim Worlds Republic, the Twenty-sixth joined with the 228th and 232nd Light Horse and 205th Dragoon Regiments to form an impromptu regimental combat team. They had deployed more than halfway across the Lyran Commonwealth in pursuit of pirates who were apparently based in the Free Worlds League.[2]
The Twenty-sixth was destroyed during the Periphery Uprising in 2765.[1]

As an SLDF CAAN regiment, the Twenty-sixth was composed of BattleMechs, tanks, hovercraft, fighters, naval vessels, and marines.[3]
