The 275th BattleMech Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.

History[edit]

In 2764, the unit was stationed on Epsilon,[2] assigned as part of XLI Corps, Ninth Army to District 2 of the Free Worlds League Military Region.[3] The 275th had a legendary reputation of being able to blunt pirate attacks, including having recovered a hijacked DropShip on its way to the Thirteenth Royal Mechanized Infantry Division in Dalcour. Its contents, Royal-grade BattleMechs, were reappropriated to the 275th.[1]

The 275th survived Periphery Uprising in 2765 and the subsequent Hegemony Campaign; the bulk of the division chose to follow General Aleksandr Kerensky on the Exodus but one of the regiments, the 104th Striker Regiment, chose to remain behind in the Inner Sphere and joined the Draconis Combine.[3]
