The 275th Mechanized Infantry Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History[edit]
In 2764, the unit was assigned as part of VII Corps, Eighth Army to District 1 of the Free Worlds League Military Region.[2] The 275th's primary responsibility was safeguarding the Quikscell Company's Port Royal complex on Kalidasa, where they repelled at least six raids since beginning their assignment. In appreciation, Quikscell sold some combat vehicles and equipment to the division at wholesale prices.[1]
The 275th was transferred to District 2 of the FWLMR in 2765 in response to the Periphery Uprising. The unit was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[2]

Tactics[edit]
The Mechanized Infantry divisions of the Star League were used offensively to exploit gaps in the enemy front created by the BattleMech divisions. They also bore the brunt of defensive actions.[3]
Composition History[edit]
The Division comprised two brigades of mechanized infantry and a single BattleMech brigade. Also attached was a ground aero wing.[3]
