The Twenty-eighth Marik Militia was the last of nine regiments of the Marik Militia to be reactivated or reconstituted after the Star League Council repealed the Council Edict of 2650 in 2752.[1]

- At this point in time the Twenty-eighth was a medium-weight regiment operating at full strength and was stationed on Callison.[2]In 2821 the unit was operating at less than half-strength.[2]

Note: At this point in time the medium-weight unit was stationed on Marik with an operational readiness of 69 percent. [3] The unit was destroyed during the war. [3]
