Star League Era[edit]
During the Star League era the Thirty-first Galedon Regulars shared a common structure with the other regiments of the Galedon Regulars, due to the threat posed by the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns. This common structure saw the Fifteenth assigned a group of conventional regiments for support - five armor regiments and five infantry regiments, an artillery regiment and a reinforced aerospace fighter wing. Second only to the Sword of Light regiments in priority, the various Galedon Regulars regiments had excellent levels of supplies, and a high level of access to new BattleMechs and equipment.[1]
First Succession War[edit]
The Thirty-first Galedon Regulars were a casualty of the First Succession War, and the regiment had been destroyed by 2821.[3]
Thirty-first Century[edit]
The Thirty-first Galedon was reformed in 3026, during the lull between the Third and Fourth Succession Wars.[2]

Tactics[edit]
Star League Era[edit]
Due to the high number of Sun Zhang Military Academy and Galedon Military Academy recruits within the Galedon Regulars, the Regulars often displayed fanatical loyalty and courage. However, the elitism displayed by these same recruits led to poor coordination between the Regulars and the attached convention forces, who were often used as cannon fodder.[1]

- - At this point in time the Thirty-first was a heavy-weight regiment stationed on Ningxia and was operating at full strength.[3] The unit was destroyed during the war.[3]

- Note: At this point in time the unit was stationed on Capra[4] and support units include an aerospace fighter wing, and a regiment each of combat vehicles and conventional infantry.[2]
Color Scheme and Insignia[edit]
The Galedon Regulars favor light-colored schemes for their 'Mechs. White, tan, and light gray dominate. For parade use, they maintain a gray base with white striping,[6] a gray with light blue stripes, or tan with white stripes. The Galedon brigade insignia is a gray/white katana over a field with one blue and one black triangle. The insignia is placed on the upper right leg of the unit's BattleMechs or fuselage of aerospace fighters.[7]

- The Thirty-first Galedon disappeared from all records after 3050, not to be found in any write-up of the DCMS. It is unknown what caused their departure from the rolls of the Galedon Regulars.
