The 320th Dragoon Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.

History[edit]

The 320th won the Best Regiment category of the SLDF's Twentieth-fifth Martial Olympiad in 2736 held on Outreach.[1][2] Aaron DeChavilier had joined the 320th the previous year as a MechWarrior, helping his regiment earn top honors by having the second-highest individual score. He would be quickly promoted three times, becoming a company and later battalion commander before moving on to take command of the 3843rd Battle Regiment.[3]

In 2748, the Fourth Davion Guards challenged the 320th to war games on Venus in order to demonstrate the skill of the Fourth and rebuild the morale of the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns following the War of Davion Succession. The Fourth would go on to defeat the SLDF regiment despite Mitchel Stopec, their commanding officer, being blinded during the Hades Event.[4][5]

In 2764, the unit was assigned as part of XXXII Corps, Fourteenth Army to District 1 of the Draconis Combine Military Region.[6][7] The 320th was transferred to District 2 in 2765 to take part in the Periphery Uprising, and the unit was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[6]
