History[edit]
The Third Federated Suns Lancers was formed as part of the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns defensive rearmament program of 3132, where the Federated Suns Lancers were expanded into a full brigade.[1] However the Third would not survive the fighting of the CCAF's assault on Tikonov in 3145, in which it was forced to retreat from New Moscow by the 5th Sian Dragoons.[2]
The survivors were temporarily rolled into the 8th Crucis Lancers before being transferred to the Second and the Fourth Lancers.[1]
