The 401st Striker Trinary was a new trinary formed and sent to conquer Derf by Khan Raina Montose. The unit was apparently created to get rid of the last living warrior who witnessed her shameful conduct on Evciler. Around a month later, on 28 January, Vandal Hildenrath reported to saKhan Connor Rood aboard the Rapacious. The late Patricia Rood had informed Connor Rood of the events on Evciler and told him to watch Vandal Hildenrath who, as it turned out, after winning Derf in combat lost it again to the surviving Clan Jade Falcon defenders in a game of chess, then moved to meet with saKhan Rood because her route to Khan Montose's Alpha Galaxy at Vantaa was compromised.
The unit joined the rest of the Clan Ice Hellion remnant under saKhan Connor Rood and withdrawn to Camelot Command. The unit survived to the return to the Clan Homeworlds.[1]
