The 605th Battle Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History[edit]
In 2764, the unit was assigned as part of XLIII Corps, Seventeenth Army to the Magistracy of Canopus area of the Periphery Military Region.[1] The 605th functioned as a reserve unit, and as a result remained idle in recent years as there had been no action in XLIII Corps' operational area.[2]
The 605th suffered heavy losses during the Periphery Uprising in 2765, and was disbanded in 2766.[1]

As an SLDF Battle regiment, the 605th would have been composed primarily of medium to heavy BattleMechs.[3]
At least one company of the 605th was assigned Guillotine 'Mechs.[4][when?]
