The Sixty-third Royal Infantry Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.
History[edit]
The Sixty-third was runner-up in the Best Division category of the SLDF's twenty-fifth Martial Olympiad in 2736 held on Outreach, falling short to the 173rd BattleMech Division.[2][3]
In 2764, the unit was assigned as part of XIII Corps, Tenth Army to District 3 of the Free Worlds League Military Region.[1] The Sixty-third was stationed along with XIII Corps headquarters on Cirebon, and the unit was considered the best-staffed and best-equipped division of the corps.[2]
The Sixty-third was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery in 2765, where it was destroyed during the Periphery Uprising.[1]

The Sixty-third was adept at forming effective defensive embankments.[2]
Composition History[edit]
As an SLDF Infantry division, the Sixty-third would have been formed from two brigades of grunt infantry and a brigade of light BattleMech regiments.[4]
