The 687th Artillery Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History[edit]
In 2764, the unit was assigned as a part of the XXXI Corps, Thirteenth Army to District 3 of the Lyran Commonwealth Military Region.[1] Unlike the independent regiments in most of the other corps in the SLDF, XXXI Corps used theirs to support and augment their divisions. There was also a contingency in place to create an ad hoc brigade with the 687th, Tenth Heavy Assault Regiment, and 1002nd Independent Aero Wing if needed.[2]
The 687th was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery to take part in the Periphery Uprising by 2765. The unit was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[1]
