The Seventy-fifth Light Horse Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History[edit]
In the 2730s, Admiral Joan Brandt's first posting of her military career was with the Seventy-fifth Light Horse. At that time, the regiment was seemingly relegated to ground support operations, attacking and dropping bombs on relatively immobile targets.[1]
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the XXVI Corps, Tenth Army, to District 3 of the Free Worlds League Military Region. The Seventy-fifth formed part of the First Regimental Combat Team, along with the Forty-second Hussar Regiment, 138th Dragoon Regiment, and 195th Royal Light Horse Regiment.[2]
It was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery. The Seventy-fifth was destroyed during the Periphery Uprising in 2765.[3]

Composition History[edit]
As an SLDF Light Horse regiment, the Seventy-fifth would have been composed of light to medium vehicles backed up by at least two Recon companies composed of 'Mechs designed for information gathering in addition to any regular 'Mechs within the regiment.[4]
