Description[edit]
This new CDF unit uses the Augmented Regiment formations commonly found in the CCAF by 3145.[2] They are a second-line regiment of the Capella Commonality.[3]
The regiment is still learning to work together with its personnel unused to the increased workload of a line regiment. Composed of the Home Guard and Corporate Security of several industrial planets, the lack of action has made the unit difficult to control.[4]

Formation[edit]
The Seventh Capellan Defense Force was created in secret from the urban defense companies of Capella, Ares, and Sarmaxa sometime before 3144 as one of the Hidden Lion regiments formed by Chancellor Daoshen Liao using stockpiled equipment.[4]
Dark Age[edit]
In 3145, the regiment was still considered too unreliable to be deployed in combat.[4] They were posted on Suzano for garrison duty.[5][4]
In June 3146, the Seventh along with the Third Liao Guards were assigned to Task Force Chong Che. Ordered to penetrate a supposed gap in Fortress Republic as Julian Davion evidently had, the task force jumped from Nanking into Republic space. Shortly after the regiment was found to have perished along with the rest of Chong Che.[1]

Tactics[edit]
The individual members of the regiment are trained in urban combat.[4]
