The 902nd Royal Hussar Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.
History[edit]
The 902nd won the Best Regiment category of the SLDF's Twentieth Martial Olympiad in 2716 held on Outreach.[1][2]
In 2764, the unit was assigned as part of XX Corps, Thirteenth Army to District 3 of the Lyran Commonwealth Military Region.[3] The 902nd was a relatively new independent regiment and was conceived as a cavalry force, with the entire unit being able to engage at over 60 km/h. They worked closely with the 100th Hussar Regiment to become more proficient on the battlefield.[4]
The 902nd was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery in 2765 to take part in the Periphery Uprising. The unit survived the war and the Hegemony Campaign, and followed General Aleksandr Kerensky on the Exodus in 2784.[3]
