The 9999th Mechanized Infantry Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History[edit]
The 9999th preferred to work alone, working with other units only if the situation demanded it.[1]
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the XXXIV Corps, Ninth Army, to District 2 of the Free Worlds League Military Region but was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery to take part in the Periphery Uprising by 2765. The 9999th survived the war and the Hegemony Campaign, and followed General Aleksandr Kerensky on the Exodus in 2784.[2]

As an SLDF Mechanized Infantry regiment, the 9999th had a standard infantry organization of three battalions of three companies each, with the companies also broken up into three platoons.[3]
