A Bonfire of Worlds is a serialized novel in fifteen parts by Steven Mohan Jr. that was first published online on BattleCorps, starting 15 March 2009, with subsequent parts published at a rate of two per month. The final part was published on 15 October 2009 and then again on 1 November, presumably due to an oversight.

Originally set for November 2008, the release was repeatedly rescheduled. An e-book edition in EPUB format was published on 30 April 2010. In August 2019, the novel was released in print as a Print-on-Demand edition.

An unabridged audio book edition, narrated by Tren Sparks, was released on 6 June 2021.

It is the thirty-first MechWarrior: Dark Age Novel and the first to be published by Catalyst Game Labs.
