In 3144 on Chertan, Alfredo led a Wolf Guards Binary, which declared a Trial of Possession for a pair of Union-class DropShips leased by the Republic Remnant. The Trial was defended by a Remnant Company under the command of Captain Gloria Hansen, who managed to defeat the Wolf Binary.
Alfredo however taunted Hansen while departing, insultingly suggesting the Wolves had merely suffered from poor luck. Incensed, as well as hoping to raise the Remnant's reputation with the Wolves, Hansen demanded a Trial of Grievance against Alfredo. In the ensuing one-on-one duel, Hansen was able to cut Alfredo off near the edge of their Circle of Equals, and despite suffering from radiation exposure from a damaged engine use her superior firepower to claim victory in under a minute.
Refusing to take Alfredo as a bondsman, Alfredo was disgraced and assigned to a solahma Cluster, while Hansen became a minor celebrity in Remnant propaganda.[1][2][3]
BattleMech[edit]
Alfredo piloted a Wulfen OmniMech, which he used in a long range D configuration during the Trial against Gloria Hansen.[1][2][3]
