The Alrescha system was home to at least one habitable world - Alrescha III - and as of 3145 was located in the Tikonov Commonality of the Capellan Confederation.[2][3]

The Alrescha system has a single A3V primary star and four worlds of which one has been confirmed as being inhabited.[1]

Alrescha III - more commonly known simply as Alrescha - is the third of four planets in the Alrescha system and has a single moon named Piscium.[1]

Planetary History[edit]

Alrescha was settled by immigrants from the Tikonov Union early in the history of the Union as a result of the need to feed the expanding population of Tikonov. Alrescha wasn't an entirely ideal candidate for colonization because trace chemicals in the atmosphere made it necessary for the settlers to wear filtering masks, but the planet had fertile soil and a warm wet climate, and was also located close to Tikonov, which was enough to meet the needs of the Union.[1]

When Tikonov Grand Union joined the Capellan Confederation, Alrescha became a farming world for the Confederation. The Capellan Confederation Armed Forces didn't garrison the relatively unimportant world with front line forces for most of its life. When the New Ivaarsen Chasseurs invaded the world during the Fourth Succession War, this policy caused the planet to fall out of Capellan hands. It wasn't until the chaos of the FedCom Civil War that the world would free itself from the Federated Commonwealth.[1]

During the Jihad Alrescha was completely ignored by the Blakists and subsequently became part of The Republic's Prefecture IV.[1]

In June 3087, local police officer Chris Koros captured the kidnapper Jill Jade.[42]

In 3133 Bannson's Raiders struck the world, recruiting prisoner Mavis Morgan into their ranks.[43]
