History[edit]
Amanda "Showboat" Ahn, born on a little planet nobody ever heard of, started participating in local talent shows, repeatedly winning the Miss Congeniality award.
Somehow showing some 'Mech dance skills, a great-aunt was able to get travel for both of them to Solaris VII. She worked for several stables until her great-aunt engineered a bidding spree which ended with Ahn having one of the best rookie contracts of the time.
Amanda Ahn was a popular sensation in the Solaris Games thanks to her natural combat skills, style, optimism and scrappiness. Everything was going very well until her great-aunt died. Her new manager was not as good as her aunt at protecting her, and while trying to cope with her great-aunt's loss, her reputation was ruined by the scandalvids after it was discovered she was addicted to stimulants and alcohol. After that, Ahn left Solaris VII and went to the Periphery to work as a mercenary.
