Athena Vasilakis was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's Sixtieth Royal BattleMech Division as of 2764.[1]

Born in the Terran Hegemony, Major General Vasilakis had an outstanding service record, rising from lieutenant to major general in only twenty years. The most junior division commander in XXXVII Corps as of 2764, she developed a mutual dislike with the unimaginative Major General Byron Gerber who was the most senior, the two often clashing over matters of strategy.[1]
