An expansion for the BattleTech: A Game of Armored Combat boxset, BattleTech: Mercenaries is a physical game box containing pieces, papers, and material to expand BattleTech play with extensive options for combined arms warfare - combat vehicles, aerospace fighters, artillery and minefields. It is a supplement to BattleTech: A Game of Armored Combat and not a standalone introduction to BattleTech. This box set focuses on the endless variety of options offered by mercenary units in any era of the BattleTech universe.
Due for release in June 2024, Catalyst Game Labs is crowdfunding the production and development of the boxset via a high popular crowdfunding campaign which runs from 26 March 2023 to 20 April 2023.
