Information:Discord

Discord is a chatting application and the BattleTechWiki community uses it for live English discussions about the BattleTechWiki project and Sarna.net in general. There are dedicated channels for discussions about BTW itself, questions related to use, editing, and/or about BTW itself, suggestions and innovative ideas for BTW, and editor resources. Additionally, there are forum channels used for the various projects that BTW has. Discussion on other topics also often happens, but is kept out of the dedicated and collaboration channels.

Rules

Greetings everyone, and welcome to Sarna.net's Community Discord!

While you are here, please follow these rules:

    ° Be respectful. Be welcoming to new members!

    ° Don't spam. That means don't take several lines to not say much, and don't repeat the same thing over and over.

    ° Keep it SFW. Use your judgement.

    ° Be civil. No insults, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or other kinds of discriminatory speech.

    ° Please be respectful of intellectual property rights when posting links. Exceptions to this concept are products that are being distributed as "fair use" and/or in the "public domain" 
      (like free downloads, promotional material, etc.)

    ° Due to that, no discussions or sharing of 3D printed mecha-related models.  We're not IP police and don't want to stray into grey territory.

    ° Don't self-promote your Twitch/YouTube/Discord/stream/etc. unless you are active in this community.  After being here for a while, we welcome our members to share links, but please do so sparingly 
      (or on specific occasions such as to highlight a special event).  Please refrain from asking for views/subscribers/likes/donations.

    ° No personal information. No addresses, no phone numbers, SSN or NI numbers or anything of those sorts.

    ° No harassment of any kind will be tolerated.

    ° No politics/religion: Sarna.net works on the collaborative process and does not want to hinder that in any fashion.
    
    ° We welcome everyone regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion.

    ° When in doubt, trust the Moderation Staff as they hold final and complete judgement.
