Wave Four of Operation BULLDOG saw Second Star League forces from Bangor (Second Dieron Regulars, Warrior House Dai Da Chi) Labrea (First Wolf Strike Grenadiers) and Hanover (Crater Cobras) make jumps into the Albiero system. The world was defended by the Eleventh Jaguar Regulars.[2][3]
Little is known about this battle except that the heavily outnumbered Eleventh Jaguar fought to the very last Warrior. Very little salvage and only a few prisoners were even able to be claimed.[1][4]
Star Captain Kilian Sender of Striker Trinary displayed his trademark flair for maneuver warfare when he employed the Linebackers of his command to great effect. The Jaguars expected the lighter Clan Wolf elements to be comprised of light designs like the Ice Ferret and were unprepared for the powerful slashing flank attacks the Linebacks were capable of.[5][6]
Two garrison Stars, with four Pack Hunters between them, attached to the Wolf Strike came under fire during a holding action. Despite losing one Pack hunter to gyro destruction, the other three survived and claimed two heavy OmniMech kills between them.[7]
