Overview

Aubisson was one of the worlds invaded by the Lyran Commonwealth during Operation GÖTTERDÄMMERUNG, the major Lyran Commonwealth offensive of the Fourth Succession War. Aubisson was considered a significant target due to its economic or political importance, and was a target of the follow-up exploitation phase that followed the first wave of attacks. The exploitation phase was initiated following orders from Archon Katrina Steiner on the 21st of October 3028, and Aubisson was invaded by the Gray Death Legion.

The Legion, outnumbered, used cunning instead of a frontal assault: Grayson Carlyle, instead of attacking the capital, he led his Legion to attack PowerOne, the planetary main energy plant, located in an island, the 15 November. While Hassan Ali Khaled led a frontal assault, drawing PowerOne's garrison, Carlyle led a secondary force by the other side of the island. After crossin the strait underwater, the humanoid 'Mechs climbed the cliff using their hands and foots. Carlyle's Marauder had to be helped to climb with a cable, but they managed it. When both Legion forces attacked the Sword of Light forces, catching them in a pincer, and made them surrender. Without power, the rest of the planet quickly followed suit, welcoming the Legion as liberators.
