Overview[edit]
In 3144 Star Captain Alfredo led his Binary of Wolf Guards to Chertan for a Trial of Possession over two Union-class DropShips where were leased to the Republic Remnant. Defending in the Trial was former-Knight, Captain Gloria Hansen and her company. The Remnant forces were successful, though as his surviving forces pulled back Alfredo taunted Hansen that only luck allowed her to prevail. Determined to raise the Remnant stature even more, Hansen promptly challenged Alfredo to a Trial of Grievance.[1][2][3]
Facing off in a Circle of Equals extending two kilometers, Alfredo planned to skirt the edges in his Wulfen D trusting in his long range and stealth armor to carry the day. Hansen quickly closed the range to negate the advantages of stealth armor and brought her superior firepower to bear. Despite being exposed to radiation due to damaged engine shielding, Hansen was victorious again. She refused to take Alfredo as a bondsman, furthering Alfredo's disgrace. The Remnant public relations corps celebrated Hansen's victories, though they carefully downplayed her former status as a Knight and her current low views of the Exarch.[1][2][3]
