Overview[edit]
On 17 June 3147 Clan Hell's Horses launched Operation NOYAN to carve out worlds from their former allies, Clan Jade Falcon. Colmar was one of three worlds targeted for the first wave. Employing the Mongol horde tactics of saKhan Fulk Lassenerra, their lightening strikes proved very effective. Packs of Hellions especially allowed the Horses to drive the 78th PGC from their garrison in the Bright Basin and out through the Marakaa Valley Lowlands. Their ECM capabilities allowed them to disrupt communications and electronic warfare equipment while unleashing close ranged laser fusillades. Whenever entrenched defenses were encounteres, the Hellions coordinated artillery fire from Stars of Huitzilopochtli assault tanks.[1][2]
