The Battle of Simpson Desert saw the Lyran Commonwealth assault Simpson Desert.[1]
Battle[edit]
In late 3137 Simpson Desert was captured by the Lyran Commonwealth during Operation HAMMERFALL. The militia entrenched themselves in Fort Verdun, prolonging the fight. Camacho's Caballeros captured the planet after the defending Third Tamarind Regulars put up a fierce resistance.[2] The planet was reclaimed by Tamarind-Abbey forces a year later.[3]
