The Battle of Sudeten was an attempt by Clan Hell's Horses to annex Clan Jade Falcon's Occupation Zone capital and its factories following the Falcons' near-annihilation on Terra. In a three day battle the Falcon garrison under Khan Jiyi Chistu fought hard enough to convince Horses Khan Gottfried Amirault to quit the field. This victory enabled Khan Chistu's faction of Clan Jade Falcon to retain Sudeten and therefore its continued existence; another result was the downfall of Khan Amirault and his replacement by the more aggressive Fulk Lassenerra.
