Overview[edit]
As part of Clan Wolf's 3150 March offensives, the Ninety-third Wolf Striker struck at Zebebelgenubi. Two Striker Stormwolfs pulled ahead of their heavier comrades when they spotted a Star of Ion Sparrows from the Turkina Eyrie. Despite the agility advantage the Ion Sparrows enjoyed, the coastal flats offered no cover for them to fade into. Warrior Talas and her Star Commander were able to run the hatchlings down with the aid of their Stormwolfs' superchargers and MASC, and their reflective armor rendered the Falcon counterfire ineffective. All five Eyrie MechWarriors died in the battle, with Warrior Talas claiming four kills.[1][2]
Aftermath[edit]
Warrior Talas was nominated for the Fetladral Bloodname for her actions, but decided to wait for "the right" Bloodheritage.[2]
Following this debacle, Khan Malvina Hazen decreed the Ion Sparrow would no longer be deployed in line combat.[1]
