History[edit]
Hsu, then a Capellan Subcommander, fled the Confederation in 3035 with his aerospace fighter due to fears he would be rounded up in Chancellor Romano Liao's numerous purges. He felt compelled to do so even though he had been a vocal supporter of retaking the St. Ives Compact and being loyal to House Liao.
On this fight to a waiting DropShip, provided by the expatriate Capellan mercenary unit Hell's Black Aces, Hsu was attacked by a patrolling lance of Transit aerospace fighters. He managed to defeat the two fighters, thanks to his superior range and skill, but damage suffered forced his DropShip to perform an unusual unpowered retrieval in deep space with its loading crane (something normally reserved for ground operations).[1]
Vehicle[edit]
Hsu was known to pilot a Transgressor aerospace fighter.[1]
