Bill Gorhum was the commanding officer of the Nestor planetary militia during the late Succession Wars Era.[1]

Force Commander Gorhum commanded the planetary militia of Nestor in the late Succession Wars and was notable for having reorganized his armor corps back to the standards of the Star League Defense Force. This allowed him to keep a larger reserve of units than most other Free Worlds League militias, which aided considerably in catching raiding Lyran Commonwealth forces unprepared. As the Lyrans engaged with what seemed to be an understrength tank unit, Gorhum's reserve platoons would overrun the attackers' rear lines.[1]
