System History[edit]

Blair Atholl was settled during the Star League era by the Lyran Commonwealth at some point after the end of the Reunification War.[5][6]

Planetary History[edit]

Blair Atholl is a damp rainy world where the most prosperous life forms are the various types of fungus.[28]

In 3065, Blair Atholl rocketed to international renown. This otherwise unremarkable world was the site of a meeting between Clan Jade Falcon Khan Marthe Pryde and Lyran Generals Adam Steiner and Archer Christifori. It was here that the two sides decided upon a ceasefire. No worlds were given back to their owners. Instead, the border was left as the military situation was when the armistice was signed. Blair Atholl's involvement was special, however. It became a jointly held world that was to be a sort of live-fire training ground for Falcon trainees.[29][30] The jointly-held "open world" lasted only until 3070, when the Falcons again struck the Lyran Alliance, and three Eyrie Clusters stuck out at their "sparing-partners," Snord's Irregulars. The Irregulars were eventually forced off world after six months of ambushing the Eryies, nearly destroying the Gyrfalcon Eyrie.[31]
